6″ opal on blue hexagonal shaped cameo vase. Each side carved with a floral spray and a rope frame. The shoulder with Japanese inspired flower hears and the neck Asian inspired decoration.

12″ opal over ruby footed cameo vase with stems and leaves rising from foot on front of vase while back is carved with similar flowers descending from shoulder. Large mosquito flies between floral designs. Vase is further decorated with band of white flowers, stems and leaves surrounding shoulder set against wispy curtain design background. Vase is finished with white cameo stylized bands around foot and neck. Similar in style to W1460.

6″ white on ruby cameo vase with small clematis and butterfly decoration. Acid signature for Theodore B Starr New York to the base. Similar to “F” pattern designs.

Opal over blue on gold skittle vase, cameo carved in an Oriental style. This vase was used by James O’Fallon as an illustration in his article on cameo glass published in The Magazine of Art Fig. 2, dated 1886.

White on ruby over satinised flint flat sided cameo vase. The river side decoration show a Kingfisher and Heron in flight amongst vegetation. The neck finely carved with a band of half flower-heads above folded trompe l’oeil curtain cut in a Chinoiserie style with branches of blossoms. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons. Unrecorded.
