6″ white on ruby cameo vase with small clematis and butterfly decoration. Acid signature for Theodore B Starr New York to the base. Similar to “F” pattern designs.
Opal over blue on gold skittle vase, cameo carved in an Oriental style. This vase was used by James O’Fallon as an illustration in his article on cameo glass published in The Magazine of Art Fig. 2, dated 1886.
